Talstar P is not labeled for grub worms and most likely will not provide satisfactory results when used to control them. 7/26/2015 · No, Talstar PL does not kill grubs. We recommend that you treat in the Spring with something like Merit Granules. We recommend that contact your local cooperative extension office to find out what the best time to treat is in your area.
4/20/2020 · Talstar P is not label ed for use to treat grubs, therefore, we wouldn’t recommend using it for grub worms. There are other products that are more suitable for this. For example, Dominion 2L Concentrate and the Bio Advanced Complete Insect Killer will be great for this along with other products that are specifically labeled to kill grubs.
6/1/2014 · Talstar P is labled to control grubs which will in turn cause moles to go elsewhere because their food source has been eliminated but Talstar P does not kill moles. This type of treatment can take some time to see results so we would recommend that you take a look at our Mole Control Page .
4/19/2017 · I was not treating for grubs. Just noting that the Talstar prevented the grub damage. I apply the Talstar due to summer ants and velvet ants. In Oklahoma I think we are a month or so ahead of you. I usually start Merit in mid June to late July. I am going to start treating for Grubs just because the treatment is a year ahead of the damage and I saw damage in different.
